Right in the old town centre of Assisi, in Via Giotto 8 – not far from Piazza del Comune and the Basilica of St Francis’ – Chocolate Mania is the crowning dream of a local Assisi family to be the first in town to open a shop selling what is perhaps the most universally loved food in the world - chocolate.
With the backing of some of the world’s leading chocolate brands such as Perugina, Lindt and Caffarel, Chocolate Mania offers the finest and most exclusive ranges of chocolates to hundreds of thousands of visitors each year.
Chocolate Mania also boasts its own range of hand made chocolates.
The shop is easily reachable on foot. Visitors from outside Assisi can park their cars in one of the nearby council parking lots (Mojano or San Pietro ).
Chocolate Mania is in a Medieval building with a series of comfortable and spacious rooms with tables and chairs, making this the ideal setting to sit back and savour the many ranges of chocolates in stock.
